National Drive Electric Week kicks off Sept. 22, and Haywood EMC is joining this nationwide celebration to highlight the many benefits of driving electric.

Finally, they continue to become more affordable, especially when paired with rebates and tax-incentives.

Haywood EMC is working to increase the public chargers in our communities — including a DC Fast Charger that was installed along I-40 in Haywood County in 2022. Haywood EMC is taking steps to make it more convenient to drive an electric vehicle with rebates on installing chargers in your home as well as offering special EV electric rates!
