Haywood EMC held its annual business meeting on Aug. 4 at the Waynesville Headquarters office. During this year’s meeting, Haywood EMC confirmed the reelection of the incumbent board members Lucas Sorrells, serving District 1; James Boyette, serving District 2; and Clay Talley, serving district 8. Each will serve a three-year term.

After the 2022 Annual Meeting, Haywood EMC’s Board of Directors met for the Board of Directors Officer Election. The result the 2022-2023 officer elections are as follows: „

- President: Larry Clark „

- Vice President: Lucas Sorrells „

- Secretary/Treasurer: Clay Talley „

- Assistant Sec. Treasurer: David Noland
