As an electric cooperative, Haywood EMC is committed to supporting the communities we serve. Through programs like the Bright Ideas Education Grant, the North Carolina Youth Tour, and the Touchstone Energy Scholarship, HEMC is able to foster better education in our communities.  Through the Touchstone Energy Scholarship, local students can earn one-time financial support to attend college or university with scholarships ranging from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $2,500.
