Changes are coming!
We are working to build a better experience for member-owners utilizing our Lake Toxaway office location for payments and more! While these upgrades are exciting, there will be a period of time where the payment options for member-owners in the Lake Toxaway District will change.
The lake Toxaway Office will cease taking payments at the kiosk or drop box at 4pm on Friday, September 20th. During construction of our updated office, the Payment Kiosk and Drop Box will be unavailable. If you are a member-owner who regularly uses these payment options, read below for our updated ways to pay.
- VanillaPay - This option allows member-owners to pay with cash at any Dollar General, Walmart and other national retailers. During this time, Haywood EMC will refund the service fee for VanillaPay users.
- Mail - This option allows member-owners to pay with a check by mailing their payment to our Waynesville Office at 376 Grindstone Rd. Waynesville, NC 28785
- SmartHub - This option allows for member-owners to pay with a card or check online through our member portal. You can also sign up for auto pay through SmartHub, if you would like. You can access SmartHub here: Haywood EMC Member Portal
- Pay-by-phone - This option allows member-owners to pay with a card or check through our automated payment system at 828-452-2281 ext. 2.
